Our family is passionate about crafting New Zealand’s finest chocolate. So passionate in fact, we’re four generations in and counting. We’re sticklers for quality. Keen to roll up our sleeves and get involved in the day-to-day. You’ll often find Andrew and Brian tinkering about on the factory floor!

Our search for the most precise machinery takes us around the world. While at home in Porirua, we make sure our wonderful staff are supported and search for ways to make our factory operations more sustainable.

    We are unable to offer tours because of our relatively small size and tight factory regulations. But you can still get a sneak peek of what goes on behind the scenes on our Beans to Bar page!

    We believe in investing in our wonderful staff. So, at Whittaker's we have a carefully curated Wellness Programme which focuses on physical health and social wellbeing to keep our team healthy and happy. It's made up of a set of initiatives including, gym memberships, free fruit in the workplace, bespoke English language lessons, eye care, hearing tests – and more!
