It was delicious. Yes, it is rich and goes far. I didn't use figs. Had fresh mandarins and strawberries instead. I would recommend lining the tin with paper, though.

This torte is delicious. Our dinner guests loved it and rated it as one of the best deserts they have ever had! Would be great if you could add the fridge time to the preparation and cook time to allow for this.
