Method
- Place a ¼ block of the Candy Cane chocolate in a small bowl and melt in the microwave in 30 second intervals, mixing until smooth.
- Place the finely chopped candy cane on a small plate. Dip the rims of 4 tall glasses into the chocolate letting any excess drop off. Then dip into the crushed candy cane. Place in the fridge to set while you prepare the rest of the iced chocolate.
- To make your candy cane chocolate sauce, place the remaining chocolate and cream in a medium sauce pan and melt over a gentle heat. Once nearly melted, remove from the heat and whisk until smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.
- Place the vanilla ice cream, milk and half the candy cane chocolate sauce in the blender. Blitz until smooth.
- Drizzle chocolate sauce around the sides of the inside of the glasses, reserving some for decoration. Fill the glasses with the blended iced chocolate.
- Top with whipped cream, drizzle with chocolate sauce and sprinkle over any remaining crushed candy canes.
Optional: Hook an extra candy cane over the edge of each glass to use as a festive stirrer.
